The park is well renovated by the government. The park is built around the rajbari dighi (lake). A very good place to hangout with family on Sunday evenings. The park suits well to evening walkers and morning joggers. The park has plenty of benches and corner seats to accomodate all your friends and have a nice "adda". It also has a special space dedicated for childrens' amusement. The park has a cafeteria and many food stalls around it. This is a nice place for photographers and selfie lovers. The park closes around 7 pm during the winters. The enterance to this park is still free but ticket counters are built so it is assumed that some enterance fee will be charged soon. It was a good experience visiting there. Flowers and greenery is always cool to see and live around there made me happy as I love gardens . But when we reached ay canteen in grden which owned by some old aged ladies, they gave me water and amul cool but both were not chilled but warmed. And when asked about it, Eshe said, there is no electricity there, and as far as I knew there is dare powercut in bengal.. So, all in all, I felt quiet nice spending time here... Go nd experience those wonderful moments. Great place for time pass with friends. You can rest under the trees in summer, one of must visiting place in jalpaiguri city. Shop is available inside the park, there is a children's park inside. One of the historical evidence of jalpaiguri district. It's one of my favorite place situated Opposite of touch nursinghome. Before it was family friendly & peaceful place. now a days the children park is closed and due to low maintaining the place is full of grasses. Authority Please pay attention to clear the grasses and make some rules & regulations for the visitors to keep the place clean & activities of the couples. Rajbari dighi currently managed and improved by Government. However, it is disheartening to see garbage piling up in several places. Rest of the view is wonderful, long wind, pleasant environment. There are Shiva temples and Kali temples here. There is a stage here, various events are held there. People come here morning and afternoon to walk, swim, yoga & fishing. To enter the park, you have to buy a ticket for 5 Rupees per person. But there is no gate to enter...
