This is a famous park in Jalpaiguri. Many people visit this place with their loved ones, their families, children, and create some unforgettable memories. Many varieties of plants, animals, birds, fishes (in aquarium) and other things like statue of famous important person can be seen. Though the species of what i referred earlier are very limited, but hey its not a zoo at all. Its a park where people relax and hangout with friends and all. Many recreational playground equipments such as swings, slides, see-saw, trampolines (for children under 10) are present here. There's also a water ball game which you can enjoy for 20 minutes for Rs 20. The entry ticket is also available at a very cheap price, prolly like Rs.10~20. Opens and closes at 10:30 AM to 7 PM. If you ever visit Jalpaiguri, you should visit this place. You won't regret it. Its called the "Thames of Jalpaiguri"...

The Teesta Park (Teesta Udyan) in the town beside the Karala river near the old district court premises is the best attraction of the town. The park is known for its quiet and tranquil surroundings. It has a beautiful artificially constructed lake where one can enjoy boating with the family and a deer park as well.
