Fantastic location with a stunning view from the end of the bridge, and it's incredibly peaceful. In front, there's a nearly 12-foot wall that makes it challenging to climb onto the bridge. However, you can get there from the back side of the wall.
It's worth noting that going up there is restricted due to safety concerns. Unfortunately, we didn't realize this because the warning was written in Tamil. And there were lots of other guys on top too.
When we got down and were coming back a policeman caught us and said "I am filing a case on you guys and there will be 500 rupees fine for each".
There were already three local individuals detained by the same policeman; he was addressing them. We informed him that we weren't aware of the restrictions and couldn't read Tamil. So, he asked for only 500 rupees from one of us and allowed us to leave. However, he didn't release those three individuals and was demanding 1500 rupees from them, discussing the possibility of taking them to the police station. After paying the fine, we walked away, and after that no one knows what happened to those three individuals.
