It takes about one and half to two hours for us to reach this place. So it's better to make our stomach filled by food before go there. The location place was quite easy to find by using google maps it really make me so easy to find. The parking lot was quite wide for everyone to park their cars and motorcycles. Maybe when you go to this place, you wanna pee, of course in this place they have clean toilets. The moment when you enter this place is surrounded by trees which makes us feel calm. We have to hike for around one to minutes to arrive the prayiglng place. There were two swimming pools, one of them was for kids and other for adults. Kinda interesting maybe for kids to swim right there. There were so many people when we went there actually. Fortunately, we got seats which were not too hot caused by the sunshine. I hope that this place will be renovated soon, so we will feel safe when we pray there. There are so many merchants which sell vegetables, beverages, snacks, souvenirs. Don't forget to give contribution for the parking. So far i like this place. Gonna go...

A nice place to pilgrimage for Catholic. The nature is great, the view is great and it has quite a lot of parking spaces. This place has an amazing statue and waterfall as well as swimming pool, river and others. At some occasions, this place will be crowded and full of people. The last time I went there I was standing throughout the mass and it was flooded by people. I recommend to prepare a newspaper, cloth and other so you can sit on the grass. Overall it's an amazing place....

The grotto was built in 1973 as the reconciliation symbol after ethnical conflict between chinese & dayak people. It's serenely located at a hill with water flowing on the rock wall behind the Maria statue, surrounded by trees and creek. It's worth an 1.5hour trip from Pontianak. Going up to the hill, it's a retreat house, a church, and several houses in chinese, melayu and dayak style to represent the harmony of people...
