This is a review for all the other bule that want to go here:
The waterfall: The waterfall is stunning, and the water is very clean when I went, with no rubbish or pollution. Probably because the waterfall is closer to the source of the stream.
The vibe: Everyone I saw there was really friendly and said hello, and the Warung owners along the trek were very accommodating and made me feel welcome. Everything I purchased at the Warung on the other side of the stream was very reasonably priced and the pop mie I ordered was perfect.
Getting there: Whatever you do, I highly recommend you do not take a car (mobil), and that you use a motorcycle (motor), as the roads up to the falls are very narrow and twisty. There is also very little mobil parking at the start of the trail. If you don't have an off-road motorcycle, park at the archway that says "duabanga ecopark". The walk to the waterfalls from there is steep and muddy, so use caution. This walk is NOT for the unfit or those who don't want to walk up steep hills. I personally think the walk is definitely worth it, as there is pretty scenery and the swim at the end is a nice reward. Entry to the falls cost 20,000 rp and parking cost 5000 rp. ( I went on a Tuesday in the morning).
Summary: This waterfall is great if you're up for a challenge, and crave the swim at the end. Highly recommended for those who...

You have to prepare your bike so good if you use that vehicle to go there, because the road it's extremely to dangerous with so many cliff and valley, if you go with car, definetly you can go up until reach the starting base, or you can just park your vehicle below on local people house's yard, and you can use bike jockey services until you reach to starting base.
This place preservation and operated by the local people, that you have to buy a tickets on a cheap prices ( it's only cost 15.000 IDR), which is all the ticket sales for operational and maintenance this places, and also for the insurance.

Read moreRead moreThe waterfall is beautiful. You can take a cold bath in the natural pool below the waterfall. The track there is quite long and exhausting but there are several warung along the treck. Would reccomend going there during rainy season as it is an extra challange to navigate the muddy dirt in the rain. And when returning, would reccomend the treck via curug kembar if you are looking for a challange. The treck back from hordeng- kembar- parking is harder than the track directly to hordeng since you have to cross the river with its strong current and climb hundreds of steep dirt stairs which only fits 1 person. Left and right are all trees and there are no warung until you reach the main track. Do not sit in the abandoned warung in the middle of that track since it is haunted and no one can save you there. Overall a beautiful waterfall with a long and challanging track. Would recommend going during rainy season if you're looking for...
