Honestly, very mixed feelings about this place.
Since I haven't managed to go to Komodo, I really wanted to see some native species in their "natural environment", and I did in this park, but it was nothing like I imagined.
The place is just a regular, small park. The enclosures are very small, for me it seems to be a very touristic place, while I was hoping for more conservation & protection oriented concept.
What I didn't like the most is that the animals are passed around at the entrance for photos. Inside there's an area where some lizards and turtles roam free, but again they're constantly touched and taken by people for the pictures.
Last but not least, the park itself says that you should not tap on the glass or disturb the animals. Well.. while visiting there was a quite agitated cobra snake and the park representative was provoking it to attack (the glass) for the attraction of the visitors. Not cool at all.
I think it would be more beneficial to invest into a larger area, bigger enclosures and focus on the rescue, not entertainment and money-making. And I really hope that not so cheap entrance ticket (200k) contributes to animals rescue...
Read moreBali Reptile Park was an amazing experience! 😄😄 From the moment I entered, I was greeted by an Albino Python and a stunning Iguana, which set the tone for an exciting day. The Albino Python, with its beautiful white and yellow scales, was mesmerizing, while the Iguana’s laid-back presence allowed for up-close observations.
The park is home to a wide variety of species, including snakes, lizards, and other fascinating reptiles. Every exhibit offers a unique opportunity to learn about different species, their habitats, and behaviors. It felt like each corner of the park provided a chance to expand my knowledge about wildlife, making the visit both thrilling and educational.
The best part? Booking online! It not only saved me time at the entrance but also offered a discounted price compared to buying tickets on the spot. If you're planning a visit, I highly recommend booking in advance for the best deal.

Read moreWe were planning on visiting the bird park, but were surprised to find the reptile park directly next door!
My daughter chose to visit the reptiles instead or the birds and I must say it was a good shout. We had an amazing time- our guide was so informative, calm and kind. He understood when we wanted to move on quick from certain parts of the park, and was patient when we wanted to stay in others.
Our favourite part was the Lizard and tortoise enclosure - very interactive and fun, it felt like a healthy home for the animals. They are allowed to roam freely and hang out with humans and other animals, but they can also seek solace in the tree, high up from humans if they choose.
Big downside to this place, for us the crocodile enclosures- very very small. And they make more money from tourists feeding the crocs dead chickens…feels a bit exploitative rather than educational. It’s a shame.
If you go here take food and drinks as there isn’t a cafe or any shop in the park. And also take a banana for the rhino lizard- he’s a...
