We rented a car to get here and parked for free right in front of the business marked as "Point 1" on the map. To reach the waterfall, look for a small sign by the road at Point 1 and follow the dirt path down. It’s not very steep, and if you have proper shoes, the walk is quite easy.
The waterfall itself is stunning both the height and the water flow are impressive. The fact that it’s free makes the experience even sweeter.
If you’re planning a waterfall hiking route covering Red Coral, Belong, Labuhan Kebo, and Melanting, this spot should definitely be your first stop. Walking time between waterfalls ranges from 10 to 15 minutes on average.
📌 One thing to note: Many people upload photos of the wrong waterfalls, which causes confusion. From one location pin, you might see different waterfalls.

Read moreThis waterfall is a good way to start the whole route at. Park your bike at the poi called "access to the golden valley water fall" on the main road. Then follow the path down to this waterfall. After seeing it, proceed to the red corall (there's a path along the stream). You can optionally visit the Belong waterfall and/or proceed to red corall. After red corall follow the path to labuhan kebo. After paying, you will need to go down the stairs (quite steep) and after visiting the waterfall return to the cashier. Turn left and continue to the Melanting waterfall. This waterfall is also in a deep valley with a steep stairway but you dont have to go back the same way. From there, follow the trail along the stream and it will eventually take you to the road where you left your bike, only 3km down the road. You should get back to the main road near the Taman Ayu homestay. From there you pay somebody 50k and they will take you to your bike. Please note that 3km along the main road are almost...
Read moreParked at Google ref. "Access to Golden Valley - breeze ECO CAFe 1 & Coffee farm) (nice catchy name 😉!) on the main road. There is not much parking space! Maybe 2 cars only? For access down, follow the path which has about 170 steps. Because of the handling of Covid very sadly the eco warung has shut...and so the 2 small bridges on the way to it are rapidly rotting away, as is the warung, as not much money to live let alone spend on maintenance. Follow the path to the cafe and wade up the stream about 15m to the waterfall. It's worth the short walk! We continued from there (cross the river and go up to an almost still functioning warung) and then go down the valley to the other 3 (4?) waterfalls. Initially it is only an earth path but soon changes to concrete. Easy walk! We paid nothing for this waterfall (I think it might have be 10k as this is the charge for the others further downstream)...instead we bought some water and plants from the lady on the road. Made her...
