If you’re looking for a quiet and peaceful getaway from the idle management of Balinese development here you can find it.

Just half an hour's drive from the busy Canggu, here you can still listen to the sound of the waves and nature without loud beach clubs' interference.

When I got here in the morning I had the whole beach to enjoy by myself.

The way to get here is quite easy, the road is in good condition, and there is a small shop at the front where you can buy water, local food, and so on.

Just be mindful of where you leave your things, as here vehicles are allowed to drive on the sand, and you don't want your things run over. And if you go for a swim there is a bit of swell and currents, so better not to swim too far away from shore for your safety.

There is barely any network connection at the beach, so maybe that's a good opportunity to disconnect from your smartphone and the outer World noise, and just...

Peaceful and raw – perfect if you want quiet.

Pantai Kelating isn’t your typical tourist beach. It’s quiet, not crowded, and feels more like a hidden spot locals would go to. The black sand gives it a unique vibe, and during sunset, it can look really beautiful — kind of dramatic in a good way.

There aren’t many facilities here, so don’t expect beach clubs or rows of warungs. It’s more of a “bring your own snacks, sit and chill” type of place. That said, the lack of people and noise is what makes it special — peaceful, untouched, and way less commercial than most beaches in Bali.

Waves can be rough, so not really ideal for swimming. But great if you just want to walk, think, or take photos.

If you're looking for a calm, no-frills beach experience, Kelating is a solid choice. Just come prepared, and...

Kelating is a charming area, known for its warm and friendly people. There are plenty of lovely walking spots, and you’ll often find small food stalls or shops to explore. The beach is also easily accessible, adding to the overall pleasant experience.

However, there's a significant issue with litter. The amount of waste is overwhelming, which really detracts from the area's beauty. It's sad and disappointing to see that more attention isn't being paid to keeping the environment clean. This place is important to us, as well as to the future of our children and their children. Unfortunately, the government doesn't seem to be doing much to address this problem, which is truly...

I think Pantai Kelating is more about the journey than the location. There is a lot of rice fields on the way in which are beautiful but on arriving to the beach itself it was fairly underwhelming.
