It was very quiet when I visited, just a couple of dogs lying about and some locals getting ready for something in the area. The temple was empty and still apart from the television that was left on... Great architecture in a beautiful setting but pretty tricky to get to through the narrow roads and the minor flooding. The path leading to the golden statues was broken up too so I couldn't get over there but it looked magnificent none the less. Some basic amenities and little stores in the area. People preparing their bamboo handmade crafts and flowers, little chicken, ducks for the ceremony as well as preparing dances, local music.
