Lamaru Beach is one of the popular beaches in Balikpapan. Good vibes, nice view with lots of shady pine trees and riverbank on the east side of the beach. Along the coast are a kid-friendly playground, family picnic area, and campground. Rent a club car or an ATV and have a nice drive between the trees and sands. Then go wild on a banana boat or just keep it calm on a goose-like boat. No worries if you got wet and need to change your clothes, there are many showers provided with clean toilets. Not to mention a soap & shampoo seller just roundabout when you need ones. When it's time to pray, you can go to the prayer room equipped with prayer rugs and Quran. Then tame your rumbly tummy at some food kiosk not far from the prayer room. Overall, the beach is worth visiting except there is some trash here and there made by visitors, even there is a cleaning-service truck with men who come every hour or two to pick them up but the trash is kept coming. So please, keep the beach clean when you have the time to visit it.

Pantai Lamaru = Lamaru Beach It's one of water tourism in Balikpapan City, especially the beach tourism (coastal area/zone, coastal tourism). Located : Lamaru District, East Balikpapan. The owner of Pantai Lamaru (Lamaru Beach) is Haji Yos Soetomo (moslem Chinese). And the manager of Pantai Lamaru (Lamaru Beach) is Pak Toni. So that's why we can see/watch the masjid/mosque with Chinese style "Masjid Muhammad Cheng Hoo". And I think this masjid/mosque is very unique. Also we can make a selfie photo with the giant decorative word "PANTAI LAMARU". We can ride a golf-car, it's a nice hobby (I think). I like it so much he 3x...

Pantai Wisata Lamaru is one of water tourism/beach tourism in East Balikpapan. The owner of this place is Haji Yos Sutomo. Also the owner of Gran Senyiur Hotel, Balikpapan. It's a nice place for refreshing to see the beach/the ocean/the sea. Ibu Kapolri & Bapak Kapolda Kaltim are planting mangrove in this place too. Also we can see an unique building "Masjid Chengho Lamaru". It's a mosque/masjid (a place for Moslem prayin') with Chinese style in Lamaru Beach, East Balikpapan. It's an unique mosque/masjid looks like a Chinese temple with red colour.

The beach is incredibly spacious. The surroundings are relatively clean, and I urge visitors to maintain cleanliness. The entrance fee here is IDR 30,000 (about $2) per person, inclusive of access to the toilets. Along Lamaru Beach, you'll find many stalls selling snacks and fresh coconut water. There's also a mosque, hammock rentals, ATV rentals, and kite vendors. The staff and locals are very friendly. The parking area is quite extensive.

Managed by private sector makes this beach become one of the best and pretty beach in Balikpapan. You are welcoming by line of pine tree if you entering this beach. Clean beach. Suitable for family gathering. You can play flying fox, water sport or just sitting for enjoying the beach and the wind breeze. There is the canteen that help you when hungry or thirsty. Must take a picture in front of the letter of Pantai Lamaru. So nowadays.

Balikpapan's beach that u must visit. Although the price for entering is not cheap, (about 25k) but u will find that the price is worth it with the main facility such as free parking and toilet. There is so much venue that required as family friendly. Flying fox, ride a golf car, banana boat (price not included) etc. Oh ya, there is also an iconic mosque called Cheng Ho mosque. Very unique mosque with oriental architecture.
