It's just the building foundation left and didn't have a much storyline at least for me, except this is the first defensive fortress built by the Portuguese in order to protect themselves from attacking by (local) Neira people who stand up and opposed against colonialism trade of nutmegs and spices in Banda island.
Location is lower altitude and can be destroyed easy so they abandoned it and built another one named Belgica to replace it at the higher altitude.
I suggested to get my review of the Fort Belgica for additional information about the things and connection between the two fortress.
