Karst Tubing Sedayu — Attraction in Bantul Regency

Super fun tubing experience, not too expensive, but pretty short route. It was slightly rough to communicate with the staff due to the language barrier, but they were very friendly. The price for 2 people for 1 km tubing was 150k rp if I remember correctly. They have toilets to change clothes and showers. You are given a lifevest, helmet and watershoes and off you go. The gorge that you tube in is GORGEous (pun intended). Around halfway there's a spot to jump off a cliff into the gorge before continuing the tubing. Unfortunately half of the track was closed when we visited due to a movie being filmed, but we were allowed to do the 1st half of the route twice to compensate. Location: easy to find. Parking area: ok. Shower/changing room: there is, separated men and women, the condition was not the best, at least they have access to clean water, you need to bring your own toiletries and towel. Safety: we can use their safety vest, helmet, and rubber shoes. They provide 4 or 5 guides for a group of 12. Snacks: they serve you tea, drinking water, boiled peanuts, and steamed sweet potato. Ticket: 50k/pax. Documentation service: ok.

Pengalaman seru menggunakan sungai sebagai medannya. Menyusuri arus sungai yang cukup deras dengan menaiki ban yang telah dimosifikasi sedemikian rupa. 'Tubing' di Sungai Sedayu memberikan hal tersebut.

Berlokasi tak jauh dari Rajaklana Hotel. Hanya membutuhkan waktu sepuluh menit untuk tiba di lokasi. Gunakan bantuan Google Maps untuk mempermudah perjalanan.

Tiket untuk melakukan 'tubing' per orang dipatok Rp50.000,00 rupiah. Cukup mahal untuk merasakan pengalaman menyusuri sungai sepanjang 800 meteran ini. Akan tetapi itu semua terbayar lunas dengan sensasi menyeburkan diri secara langsung.

Aliran air cukup deras dengan banyaknya bebatuan yang menjadi tantangannya. Beberapa kali ban penulis harus bergesekan dengan batu-batuan sungai. Ada pula yang disebut area 'leher botol' karena saking sempitnya sehingga ketika mengarungi kawasan tersebut hanya bisa satu-satu alias mengantri.

Ada spot tebing untuk terjun bebas sembari minta diabadikan dalam bentuk potretan. Sekali terjun.byuurrrr....langsung sensasi tenggelam kemudian muncul permukaan yang dirasakan. Hanya untuk yang berani mempraktekkannya saja.

Selesai aktifitas tubing, akan dijemput oleh kendaraan pengelola untuk kembali ke titik keberangkatan awal. Setelah itu dipersilahkan membilas diri menggunakan ruang bilas yang tersedia.

Masih diberi bonus minuman teh hangat beserta kudapan singkong dan kacang rebus. Cukup nikmat disantap setelah badan basah-basahan.
