Hutan Kota Gergunung

Klaten has alot of beautiful place, one of all is Hutan Kota Gergunung. Hutan Kota Gergunung is located on Ki Ageng Gribig road. The main route that connets Klaten to Boyolali. This artificial forest was founded by Sari Husada Company. This forest is square and wide around 2 hectars. This forest only has one gate facing north. You don’t need to pay the entracee, because it’s free. After entering the gate, you will find the parking area, for Rp2000 motorbikes and Rp5000 for cars. After that you walk to the west, there is children playground, one of the highlights is ATV Ride. You only pay Rp10000 to surround this forest used ATV Ride. In the south, there are empty place, this place usually used for sports for example, gymnastics and jogging. There are several miniatures, for example prambanan temple and puppet. Then, you walk to the east, there are palm and teak trees neatly arranged. If you want to enjoy the cool air, don’t worry, because there are ten seats on the edge of the forest area. In the central of the forest there is a large pagupon, pagupon is a home from pigeons, you can see pigeons flying around the forest. On the right side of te pagupon is a fountain, the fountain is surrounded by lights, the fountain only lights up at night. The east of the parking area is a small mosque, so we have to queue if you want pray. This forest is limited by a wall that is 100 meters high. This is popular family holiday place in the middle of city. The park located in Ki Ageng Gribig streey, Kwarsa, Gergunung, Klaten Utara Subdistric, Klaten Regency, Jawa Tengah. Its so large and many plant inside especially fruit trees. You can spending time by walk around the park or in playground area for child.

The unique icon from this park is "PAGUPON" ( dove house). There are 5 or 6 pagupons at the park. There also a fountain, although the water is not clear because it was rainy day. Many instagramable spot in this area.

Hutan Kota Gergunung merupakan salah satu tempat terbuka hijau di Klaten. Hutan kota gergunung ini di kenal juga dengan nama Taman 1000 pelangi. Hal ini dapat di lihat dari penggunaan cat warna warni untuk berbagai area bermain. Letaknya strategis di pinggir jalan dan begitu luas. Untuk masuk tempat ini gratis ya bagi siapa saja. Tempat ini biasanya ramai di hari libur dan pas sore hari, para pengunjung biasanya menghabiskan waktu sore hari bersama keluarga atau teman di hutan kota ini. Tempatnya bersih dan terdapat taman bermain untuk anak2 akan tetapi memang sudah banyak yg tidak berfungsi. Karena begitu luas, taman ini cocok untuk berolahraga seperti lari dan jogging track tersedia disini. Terdapat jg. toilet dan mushola kecil. Menjelang malam, lampu-lampu akan menyala akan tetapi menurut saya masih kurang penerangannya karena beberapa lampu banyak yg mati dan lampu kurang banyak untuk menerangi area seluas hutan kota ini. Pada sore hari, jika beruntung pengunjung dapat melihat burung dara yg pulang ke rumah nya (gupon) yang ada di hutan kota ini. Rumah burung (gupon)dengan warna warni ini merupakan icon dari hutan kota gergunung ini.. Spot-spot foto juga banyak, dan sangat mendukung sekali bagi para pengunjung yg suka mengabadikan moment2. Terdapat juga miniatur2 tentang apa aja seh yg terkenal di Klaten, seperti miniatur untuk sebaran apem di jatinom, miniatur ikan nila, miniatur gerabah, miniatur candi, miniatur logam ceper, miniatur wayang kulit, dll. Penjual jajanan dan minuman juga ada di sini dengan harga terjangkau . Tempat parkir juga luas. Tempat sampah ada, tetapi masih kurang banyak. Area hutan kota ini bersih dan banyak tanaman2 juga.. akan tetapi masih kurang, jika di bersihkan lagi dan di tata serta di rawat dengan baik maka akan lebih terlihat...
