To get to this place we need to pay for "Gate" entrance ticket 25k per person and 5k for motorcycle parking fee. The funny thing is, the gate ticket staffs mentioned that theres no more payment inside the area... But when we arrived at the lake location, we still need to pay for the ticket to enter this place. Personally I don't mind though, its cheap. However didn't expect that we have to pay for most of the photo spots... Cmon....
As for the motorcycle parking ticket, when we arrive at the parking lot, there's a sign that the parking is FREE.. A BIG SIGN. Like, What the......
The access road was also VERY ROCKY AND BAD. If you ride a mountain / Dirt Bike / of road car it is indeed fun. But if you ride a scooter / regular car, you're screwed... Need to extra careful, especially when its raining / after rain, because its slippery. And to be honest I was expecting for at least gravel road, because we paid to only enter the access road... But nope, rocky, bumpy road ahead.

The lake it self.... Nah... Went there once, wont come back I guess nor recommend to go there... I hope there will be improvement in the future, especially the...

The view of the mount gede and mount pangrango across the valley is just breath-takingly amazing. The view of mount salak is also beautiful.
You can easily hike for 7 km one way up to the edge of the forest of mount kencana. The hike is along the stone pavement of the tea plantation. It is quite flat for the most part. The slope is steeper as we approach mount kencana area.
Hike early in the morning on a sunny day. Otherwise, the weather gets quite warm especially when the wind is not blowing. In the late afternoon, you may view gorgeous sunset (if you're lucky).
The hiking trail is quite far away from the jalan raya puncak, so there is very minimal...

He was actually in another car, and didn’t come to inform us. When I approached him, he told me to go back to the first car we came in. Then, another person came and told us the driver was in the bathroom — but surprisingly, that same person was seen earlier dropping off another family.
When I spoke to a staff member, she confirmed that the original driver should have stayed, waited, and taken us back himself. This kind of behavior is very unprofessional and...
