Visiting Taman Safari Indonesia in Bogor was an extraordinary adventure that transported me into a world of awe-inspiring wildlife and natural beauty. From the moment I entered the gates, I was immersed in a captivating experience that combined education, entertainment, and conservation efforts seamlessly.
The safari journey through the park was nothing short of exhilarating. The chance to observe animals in a spacious and natural habitat was a rare treat, and I was truly impressed by the park's commitment to animal welfare and preservation. As I drove through the safari sections, I marveled at the diversity of species, from majestic lions and graceful giraffes to playful orangutans and curious rhinos. The up-close encounters were unforgettable, providing an intimate glimpse into the lives of these incredible creatures.
One of the highlights of my visit was the captivating animal shows and performances. The trained animals showcased their intelligence, agility, and natural behaviors, leaving the audience both entertained and educated. The park's dedication to promoting awareness about conservation and wildlife protection was evident throughout these presentations.
Taman Safari Indonesia goes beyond being just a zoo; it's a sanctuary where the well-being of animals takes precedence. The efforts to create natural habitats, engage in breeding programs, and support research initiatives are commendable and contribute to the broader conservation efforts.
The park's infrastructure and facilities were well-maintained, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience for visitors of all ages. The staff members were friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about their roles, and their commitment added to the overall positive experience.
With its commitment to wildlife conservation, educational opportunities, and immersive experiences, Taman Safari Indonesia in Bogor stands as a shining example of how a zoological institution can make a meaningful impact. Read moreOnce in a lifetime experiences you should have! Sukak bangett sama Safari Journey nya.. best of the best.. vibes nya Africa banget.. kalau di Panda zone nya.. vibes ny china banget. Best tips for you to follow if plan to go there by weekend (Fri-Sun) : Come from early morning. They queue from 8.15am then can enter the ticket counter by 8.30. Dont forget to buy online ticket so u just need to scan the barcode ticket. I recommend you to buy Wara Wiri Train ticket included in the main ticket, it will save you time and not really tired to walk too far from one zone to another zone. Don't forget to ask Map Routes from the assistant by the entrance. Enjoy Safari Journey from the beginning. Prepare carrots and other vegetables to feed the animals. It may take 1-1.5 hours. Then, directly head to Dolphin area, while waiting for dolphin show at 11pm, you can roam around there. There are monkeys and reptiles. Dolphin is a must to see at 11pm. If you take the 4pm show, it will be really crowded. If you bring kids, after dolphin show, you can go to Baby Zoo to see Kangaroos, Lemur, and so many birds 🥳🥳 After exploring baby zoo area, you can have lunch before heading to Elephant Show at 1.30 or 2pm (kinda forget). Baby Zoo, food court and elephant show are in one area. After elephant show, you can try many attractions esp if you bring kids, this is the time you should spend time. From rollercoaster, carousel, bumper car, etc etc. You can also do this activities after Dolphin show to enjoy all of them. I kinda recommend you to go to Panda Area around 2.30pm and spend time there until 3.30 pm. This is the least crowded because everyone who watch dolphin at 4pm, they will go to panda afterwards. Its like a template for everyone. So its crowded like crazy 🤣 After panda, you can head to Cowboy Show. It begins at 4pm, makesure to manage your time. It's A MUST WATCH SHOW !!!! I can say its even much cooler than waterworld in singapore hahaa.. Last, if you still have time and run and hopefully no queue for cars heading home, you still can enjoy some attractions, since some of the attractions close by 5.30pm. We tried the bikes (i forgot the name) and space ship.
And anyway don't think about enjoying lunch in panda area since it's so so so expensive, mie ayam for 85k 🤑🤑🤑
That's all the great tipss and...
Read moreThough the entrance fees, both afternoon and night safaris, are, to most people, expensive, you really do get what you paid for. You start off with a safari, where you drive in your car through an almost accurate replica of a jungle, passing animals, mostly wild, that just sit there and either talk to each other, eat food, or think about eating you. You also get to feed some of the animals, like giraffes and deers (you know, the animals that DON'T think abut eating you). You get to see a whole variety of animals from various places around the world. Just make sure you stay attentive and read the signs that are present, because that could be a life or death situation for you if you don't. Another huge selling point for this zoo, besides the live safari, are the giant pandas (Cai Tao and Hu Chun) which were gifts from China to Indonesia as a sign of strong bond and diplomacy. If you want to see them, be prepared to climb an entire kilometer up a mountain range. Then, you have to take a designated bus, passing another mountain range to actually see the pandas. Apparently pandas enjoy living in the cold, so high up in a secluded area in a mountain is their current home. Though you'd have to go through that much hassle, it all pays off because once you've arrived, you get to finally see them and appreciate their beauty. There is a baby zoo, who's baby animals have now grown into deadly, yet adorable animals that you can take pictures with. There are also multiple shows, with water, land, and aviary animals that are free to watch as you rest. Multiple rides can be played for the kids, and a waterpark and swimming pool is also present for everyone to enjoy. There are also many other exhibits that showcase actual live animals, like reptiles, primates, birds, and other animals that you wouldn't be able to find elsewhere in Indonesia. It would take you the whole day to go through every exhibit and every facility they offer, so I advice you to go here early in the morning during its opening hour. But let me tell you, the costs are worth every Rupiah because once you go inside, you have access to a whole new world that is both entertaining and educational to the kids and...
