D'Kandang Depok — Attraction in Depok

It is huge farm complex and other activities suitable for educating the kids. 100 meter before the main gate the road is in bad shape but it is quite wide but not enough for 60 seat bus. Parking is big and cost 20000 ruphias for full one day. The general nuance is green as the bright hot sunny day is reduced to a fresh and cool day. Ticket varies; for entrance only 25 thousands ruphias if you want a hat you need to pay another 10 thousands. For activities such as riding horse, milking cow, craft, planting, and many more the ticket range from 20 to 70 thousands ruphias. Packages are available for 75, 100 and 150 thousands. The landscape of the complex is hilly with a river running through. Bridges are well decorated with recycled materials and many steps go up and down the whole area. Food stalls are centered in two areas and gift shops dotted the area. Places for selfie are almost everywhere. Huts are provided, tree shade can be a picnic ground. Water tap and soap can be easily found for every activity cause almost make hands dirty. The staffs are friendly and helpful. The food is cheap, however, it is not so tasty. This place is for family with Children or for school field trip. It is not recommended for junior or senior high School. The toilets are easy to find and reach, and they clean and we'll maintained. Overall this place is great, fun, educating and it is a must place...

Located in Sawangan, a region between South Jakarta and Depok, Indonesia. The entry ticket is only IDR 10.000 and you can exchange it with 4 flavors of yoghurt and a warm welcome.

Inside your children may choose many activities: feeding and riding the animals, farming, painting or outbond activity. For each activity you have to pay from IDR 20.000 to 70.000.

Children may choose to feed goats, cows, buffaloes, chickens, ducks, rabbits, horses and fishes. They can also ride horses, carriages, buffaloes and hunting fishes in a pond. Children may also learn to farm rice and other plants. There is also an outbond park with a flying fox where older children can ride ATV. As for painting activities, children can paint on "caping" (farmer's hat) to T-Shirt.

This place is also suitable for family gathering as it provides a quite large "saung" (open hall).

D'Kandang might be a choice to pass your family vacation for fun but cheap amusement...

A very provocative place. Not recommended for families. when we were there last year, one of the open gazebos/pendopo was used by a mass group for 'tahlilan'. It's not the tahlilan activity that bothered us, but how loud, and strong, and full of anger the words were. They were tens of people literally screaming full of emotion.. So weird. This is fatal because d'Kandang is a family leisure destination, and things like this really caused uneasiness and public disturbances. I protested to the guards, but they can't do a thing. They've paid for the place, they said. It was a paid event. D'Kandang should not again be too accommodative to certain religion groups or sects, if they don't want to be branded as a terrorist lair. Definitely not recommended unless you're a radical moslems who feels okay with this sort of...
