Kayaks and motorcycles are available to rent. You need to pay the ticket to enter this area. It is quite expensive, for my case Rp65.000 for a minivan (I visit it on December 2017). I visited Batu karas with my high school classmates last January. This was my unforgettable vacation. This was an okay beach. Very clean but also very crowded. There is only one good spot to surf but there is so many people swimming that it's almost impossible to surf without potentially hitting someone.
