Favorite Religious Tourism Places

The Tiban Mosque was built by students from the Bihaaru Bahri Asali Fadlaailir Rahmah Salafiyah Islamic Boarding School. The magnificent mosque building with this unique design makes this mosque a favorite religious tourist destination in East Java.

This mosque is quite easy to reach. from Malang City, we can take a bus with the AL code route terminal gadang - turen, then ask the driver to be dropped off at the Tiban Mosque. After disembarking, we can take a motorbike taxi to the Tiban Mosque, or walk about 1.5 km.

Apart from worshiping, at this mosque we can also shop and enjoy the mosque environment by taking pictures, as long as we maintain good manners here. And the entrance fee to this mosque is free or free.

Review Versi Bahasa Indonesia

The Tiban Malang Mosque is located in Turen, Malang. This mosque has 10 floors. Where each floor has its own function. Some are used as places to sell accessories or souvenirs, offices, zoos and aquariums and even houses for caretakers. This mosque has a very grand and beautiful architecture with blue and white domination. Built with a mix of typical ornaments from the Middle East, China and even India. The architecture and style of the Tiban mosque fascinates all visitors. Even this mosque is a religious tour. This mosque has many facilities such as a prayer room, a large parking area, and there is even a resting place for visitors. The toilet outside the mosque area is very clean and spacious, besides that there is a farming area (hydroponics). To access the floors of this mosque, use the stairs or the elevator. The area of the Tiban mosque is very wide, but access to the mosque area is quite difficult because of the narrow roads. Behind this beauty, the Tiban mosque has drawbacks, such as toilets in the prayer room area smelling bad, floors 9-10 have a slightly winding road that makes it difficult for visitors, and lots of bird droppings. But behind the shortcomings that exist in the Tiban mosque, it does not reduce the beauty and splendor...

MASJID TIBAN TUREN

Masjid Tiban, or more precisely, the full name is Pondok Pesantren Salafiah Bihaaru Bahri Asali Fadlaailir Rahmah is a large mosque and Islamic boarding school complex located in Turen, Malang Regency, East Java, Indonesia.

Reading about it online or seeing it on social media doesn’t do it justice, you really have to visit it in person to truly understand and experience it.

We visited on a Tuesday afternoon. Surprisingly, there were no other visitors besides us. After registering at the front desk and receiving a visitor card, we were guided around the complex by a staff member who explained different parts of the site.

In my opinion, this is one of the strangest buildings in the world. There are countless rooms, winding staircases like a maze, and yes! it’s pretty confusing to navigate. We explored the place at night, which made the atmosphere even more eerie. Some corners felt spooky and even a bit creepy.

However, when you look at the materials used: the wall tiles, marble floors, onyx stone lamps, and carved furniture - they clearly aren’t cheap. That might be what gives the entire complex a sense of luxury, regardless of its unconventional architecture and...
