Puncak B29 — Attraction in Java

There are 2 versions of the naming of B29. The first version is that the letter B means Hill and the number 29 is the sequential number of the number of hills there. Puncak B29 include to Bromo Tengger Semeru national park area. Cmiiw. There's two possible ways to get here. You can coming through Lumajang or ride through Probolinggo. I choose the second route. Here is some advice for you. If you want an unforogettable experience, you better manage your time to make camp here. The milkyway are successfully amazed me. But please remind to prepare for (very) cold weather and windy. Heattech pants, warm sweater and windbreaker jacket is a must have combo. And dont forget socks, too. In the morning sunrise starts arround 05.15. Enjoy the magical view of Bromo dessert and savana covered with white clouds. But the clouds sometimes doesn't appear, depend of the weather i guess. Negeri di atas awan. If you lucky you can see a cloud reach your feet. This place have a beautiful view. You must come here in early morning to see sunrise. To reach this place you must ride a motorbike. But if you drive a car you can park your car in the parking area and go there by OJEK. You need to pay IDR 75.000 to go B29.

But i recommend you to go P30 first. This place is higher than B29 and you can see Bromo mountain from here. You need to pay IDR 150.000 to go P30 and B29. But this rate is not for holiday season.

Dont forget to bring your jacket and gloves. Maybe you need to bring face and hand lotion. Because its really cold in there. It makes my face and hand become so dry.

After that go to B29. But you can ask the driver to stop by at food stall to have some tea or coffee or maybe instant noodle.

Ps. Dont drinkt too much. They have a restroom but usually its closed. So it will be a problem if you want to pee. Or you can ask people at car park area to go to their restroom before or after go to...
