The beauty of Koka Beach in Sika, East Nusa Tenggara is simply breathtaking. It is a hidden gem that is yet to be discovered by many tourists. The beach is known for its pristine white sand, crystal clear turquoise waters, and lush green palm trees. The atmosphere is peaceful and serene, making it the perfect place to relax and escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

One of the best things about Koka Beach is that it is not crowded, even during peak season. This means that you can have the beach practically to yourself and enjoy the peace and quiet. The water is also very calm, making it ideal for swimming, snorkeling, and kayaking.

If you are looking for a truly beautiful and relaxing beach experience, then Koka Beach is the perfect place for you. It is a place where you can truly unwind and connect with nature.

Here are some of the things you can do at Koka Beach:

• Swim in the crystal clear waters. The water at Koka Beach is so clear that you can see all the way to the bottom. It is also very calm, making it ideal for swimming, even for those who are not strong swimmers.

About seafood in Koka Beach.

The seafood in Koka Beach Sika is some of the freshest and most delicious in East Nusa Tenggara. The fishermen in the area catch a variety of seafood, including tuna, snapper, squid, and octopus. The seafood is then sold to the local restaurants, where it is cooked in a variety of delicious ways.

One of the most popular dishes in Koka Beach Sika is ikan bakar (grilled fish). The fish is marinated in a special sauce and then grilled over charcoal. The result is a fish that is perfectly cooked and full of flavor.

Another popular dish is udang saus tiram (prawns in oyster sauce). The prawns are stir-fried with oyster sauce, garlic, and chili peppers. The dish is sweet, savory, and spicy, and it is sure to please even the pickiest eaters.

If you are looking for a truly authentic Indonesian seafood experience, then you should definitely try the seafood in Koka Beach Sika. The seafood is fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced. You are sure to find a dish that you will love.

Here are some of the restaurants in Koka Beach Sika that are known for their fresh seafood:

• Warung Makan Ujung Pantai: This restaurant is located right on the beach and offers stunning views of the sunset. The seafood is fresh and cooked to perfection.

• Rumah Makan Mutiara Laut: This restaurant is known for its delicious ikan bakar. The fish is perfectly grilled and the flavor is simply amazing.

• Warung Makan Ibu Aji: This restaurant is a local favorite and offers a variety of seafood dishes at reasonable prices.

Wich restaurant you choose, you are sure to enjoy the fresh and delicious seafood in Koka Beach Sika.

No matter what you choose to do at Koka Beach, you are sure to have a wonderful time. It is a truly beautiful place that is sure to leave you feeling relaxed...

Koka Beach probably was one of our trip's highlights and definitively one of our most memorable stays. We actually planned on going there which is why we called the owner Mr. Blasius in advance. When we arrived at Maumere airport he and a friend of his were awaiting us at the airport and gave us a very comfortable ride to Koka Beach. When we arrived we were asked to take a seat at one of the tables in the "common and dining area". Mr. Blasius served us an incredibly delicious and huge lunch (an entire tuna he caught the day before). Afterwards he showed us our room for the upcoming nights. You have to be aware of the fact that the accomodation at Koka Beach is pretty basic and down to earth (we basically slept on a matress in a wooden shack). Nonetheless, this really is all you need! The entire location is of stunning beauty and literally blows you away. We have not seen a single beach in Indonesia which was that quiet, peaceful and beautiful at the same time. You could sunbath and lay at the beach all day - and as there is nothing else to do at Koka Beach, this literally is all you can do anyways - and just relax. After taking a few swims in the ocean you take a quick shower under the improvised water-hose-outdoor-shower and change before you, once again, get served one hell of a dinner. This time, Blasius brought us a red snapper and loads of side dishes. In fact it was so much we couldn't even finish. Hands down, this definitely was one of the best meals we had in our travels!

After dinner, Blasius offered us a glass of Arak his father had made himself. Although this was my first and last glass of Arak I ever drank it was a lovely atmosphere created by an outstandingly hospitable and kind man who loves to share the very basic accomodation he and his family have with travelers and strangers from all over the world...it was a truly amazing stay at Koka Beach and we were sad when we had to leave 2 days later already...

So in a nutshell, if you are alright with basic accomodation and do not really need to stay in the Ritz Carlton, definitely spend a night at Mr. Blasius place...you will not forget it!

That being said, THANK YOU Blasius for making our...

Koka Beach in NTT is a hidden gem that offers an idyllic escape for those seeking a pristine and tranquil beach experience. Known for its clean sands and crystal-clear waters, this beach is relatively undiscovered, making it a perfect spot for those looking to avoid the crowds. The natural beauty of Koka Beach is truly mesmerizing, with its stunning landscapes providing a sense of a private paradise.

Despite its allure, getting to Koka Beach can be challenging due to the condition of the access road, which is a rough gravel and makadam path. Drivers need to be cautious, but the journey is rewarded with the breathtaking scenery upon arrival.

Koka Beach is frequented by a handful of foreign tourists who have discovered its charm. The beach remains largely unknown to the general public, adding to its secluded and exclusive feel.

However, there is a need for improvement in infrastructure to enhance the visitor experience. The government should invest in developing basic amenities such as public restrooms and dining facilities. These additions would greatly benefit tourists and encourage more visitors to explore this beautiful destination.

In summary, Koka Beach is a spectacular spot offering peace and natural beauty. While the journey to get there requires caution, the pristine environment and sense of serenity make it worth the effort. With the addition of essential facilities, Koka Beach has the potential to become a more popular and comfortable destination for...

A must visit if you are between Sikka-Maumere. Koka Beach has a two beachline with white sand and cristal clear water and divided by a huge mountain of rock that you can climb on. Right now that place is only crowded by tourist from neighbouring city with a number of stall that offers delicacies like fried banana, cocoa drink, or sea food. Sadly you will not find sunsets/sunrise here since it face the other way. From the main road, it only takes less than 1 kilometre to reach this beach, unfortunately the road there isn't in good condition with a lot of gravel and small rocks. but your car or motorcycle should be able to pass if you're careful. With only 5.000 IDR you can pass the road that leads to the top of the stone mountain that divide the beaches. BUT EXERCISE EXTREME CAUTION since we climb with less than adequate safety measures (the steps are made from bamboo). And when you reach the top there's no fence or rail to prevent tourist from slipping and fall from height. You really need to be careful of where you stand when taking pictures or selfies. But all risks aside, the view from the top is simply MAGICAL. Definitely don't miss this place if you're in Maumere.
