Do NOT go... First of all, local maffia ( sorry no other words for the unfriendly looking locals that surrounded us and forced to pay 75.000 (never paid more than 10k for a beach anywhere in Indonesia!!!) for parking. After, they followed us through the steep path down to the beach and every step we took on the beach. Really bothering, laughing about us, ... so we decided to go back up since relaxing on the beach was not possible anyway. Also, the typical rock "bridge" fell down 2 months ago so the beach is nice - but definetely NOT deserted with 10 locals following every footstep you take... Remember that if u visit and agree to pay, you incite them to keep on doing this. I totally agree some of the money can go to locals if you visit local place ( even though this beach is 100% public ) - but NOT in this rude and intrusive way.
