Pantai Mali / Mali Beach in Kabola Village, Kabola District, Alor Island - Alor Regency.
This beach is the famous beach in Alor because here is the only place we can see a mermaid named Mawar. Mawar is a cute mermaid who is known to be very friendly with humans. Mawar's home is around Kabola Bay, Mali Peninsula, and a small island nearby. To meet Mawar, we can rent a local fishing boat from Mali Beach to potential points where Mawar is often seen, either in the morning/afternoon/evening. When we meet Mawar, we can just watch her play around our boat, we are prohibited from swimming with her because we can be considered as threat to her.
In addition to visiting Mawar, we can also just relax and enjoy the cool and breezy atmosphere of the beach, playing with sands as well as swimming with coral reef fish, or join the local fishermen to do fishing together with them using traditional fishing equipment such as nets, traps, and shooters/arrows.
