It is such a nice place. Beo Ruteng Pu'u, a good tourism destination that provide a unique cultural heritage particularly through its traditional houses with serene and peaceful atmosphere. I think, it is one of the captivating destination for those who seeking an authentic cultural experience. When I go there, there's fee that we've paid. It is for people or tourists who come to the village, with only 45k that include the traditional clothes, Manggaraian coffee, and we can explore the interiors that addorned with traditional crafts, and the fascinating insight to the daily lives of people there. I think the fee is still quite affordable. And if u are lucky, you can watch the traditional dances perfomance and workshops on local crafts that held there. The accessibility also no need some effort, it is accessible and we can use the transportation like bemo or car when we go there. The people there also very friendly, so there's no need to be awkward there. I'm having a good experience when I go to this village, and what a...
Read moreRuteng Pu'u is one of the places known by many people, especially people in Manggarai (Ruteng). As one of the students of UNIKA ST PAULUS RUTENG, I have done class activities held in Ruteng Pu'u and it was also my first experience visiting this place. Ruteng Pu'u is very good. The first impression I got was that there were not so many people in Ruteng Pu'u who could become guides when there were guests who wanted to visit, it became one of the weaknesses that made Ruteng Pu'u less visitors who came. It would be better if in the future Ruteng Pu'u has other things that can become objects that many people like, with the intention that Ruteng Pu'u not only displays good and beautiful traditional houses but also provides places to eat and drink such as stalls and so on. All in all, everything went well. Thank you Ruteng Pu'u, hopefully more advanced...
Read moreGave a donation and signed in, asked the woman if its OK to take photos of everything and she agreed. Half way round was told off my an elderly man for taking a photo of what I guess is his house. Made me feel uncomfortable as I didn't think it was wrong. Then later my partner was bombarded by kids, not to say hello or greet but they wanted to steal the banana that was in her side pouch of her backpack. Instead of asking for it they just tried to grab it. I understand its a living village and we need to show respect but if you charge someone to come in and visit your village you should have a mutual respect. Didn't feel welcome at all. Very disappointed as the buildings were beautiful and...
