The first time I went to the Purwodadi Botanical Garden, I was immediately amazed by its beautiful green scenery. lots of trees and other beautiful plants, so here the place is really shady. the place is also very spacious, so there are also bicycle and scooter rentals there. Guaranteed you won't regret coming here. This place is really suitable for healing, picnics or photos, because there are really lots of good and aesthetic photo spots here, so it's a shame if you don't capture them. the facilities are also many, there are toilets, food and drink sellers, atm machines, prayer rooms, and also bicycle or scooter rentals to get around. even though at that time I didn't go around completely, but I was very satisfied with the beauty of the scenery. the place is also clean and well-maintained, so visitors are guaranteed to feel comfortable. This place's management directly under LIPI. Now this place is'nt just a land of botanical research and development, but also has become a family recreation at a cost that's relatively inexpensive.

This place's very easily accessible from any direction in eastern Java. Entrance ticket prices are also cost affordable by all people.

The collection of plants in the botanical garden's not only plants from Indonesia archipelago, but also plants from outside ranging from Africa to America.

For outdoors and plants lovers it would be a good spot for recreation as well as education. It is one of few botanical garden in Indonesia and maybe one of 3 in Java island and the only one in East Java. Entrance fee for 4 pax including parking fee to one car and 4 bottles of mineral water is 127k. Inside you can hop on the tour bus for 10k per pax, but unfortunately it was just a ride around the park. Would be better if they provide like a tour guide or audio guide to show you around as the vehicle moves around. Compared to other botanical garden like Cibodas or Bogor or Bali, it is the smallest and least maintained. I can see the plants are dying inside the green house due to lack of watering.
