Alun-Alun Jember — Attraction in Jember

As a Jemberese myself, I find it to be rather disappointing after the renovation is finished in December. The playground is gone and now replaced with a weird communal area with no vegetation. The walking experience in this area feels confusing alwith abstract and questionable bench placement. The only thing that's better is the new pavement and lots of trash cans, even in the center field. The jumbotron on the north side is the star of the show, though. Eyecatching visuals from everywhere in the west, south, and east area. However, the art of the Indonesian archipelago on its back leaves more to be desired since most of the islands don't look right upon closer inspection. For example, Bali has gotten pregnant in the Denpasar area, the smaller Nusa Tenggara islands aren't visible, and southeast Sulawesi has a big blob of islands merged into one.

The gov't has noticed the recent damages, so I hope there'll be improvements on the part in the future. I might start rollerskating again because of the now...

This place is very nice, there is playground, food court, shady palm pantations, basketball and volleyball court, green field, and public toilet (restroom). It open 24 hours a day and 7 days a week (never close). There you can walk around or jogging, eat, drink, play, sport, go shopping in the evening, picnic, get relax, connect to Wi-Fi and many more. I recommend to visit this place at evening, I like to see the lamp tree and the water fountain. Also, at Kartini street or Jalan Kartini (in the south of Alun-Alun) there is street market you can buy Molen, Cilok, etc. Or, you can ride "Becak Gowes" / Gowes pedicab. Sometimes, there is animals permormance too. Sunday morning is free from cars or motorcycle, that is time to sport with lots of people. This...

Emmm okay, saya merupakan pendatang ya disini karena melakukan studi di salah satu universitas yang ada di Jember. Pertama kali datang yang saya lihat adalah alun-alunnya, dulu alun-alunnya belum direnovasi dan belum ada videotronnya.

Before after renovasi cukup baik, namun memang ada beberapa sarana yang perlu diperbaiki lagi, mungkin bisa ditambah tempat untuk berteduh ya karena tempat berteduhnya sedikit wkwkwk Jadi kalau siang kesana panas poll😭😭

Nah setelah renovasi jadi makin cakep, ada videotron yang memutar video terkait jember meliputi wisata alam dan non alam, potensi jember, kebudayaan jember, dan hal-hal yang berkaitan dengan jember

Tulisan Alun-alun jember juga bagus sekarang hehe, ada kotak kuning seperti suwar suwir tapi entahlah ya apakah benar itu suwar suwir atau bukan😁

Lokasinya ada di tengah kota, dikelilingi oleh bank BUMN, dan seperti alun-alun pada umumnya, ada masjid di sebelah alun-alun

Ohiya alun-alunnya juga deket dari Stasiun Jember. Kalau malam kesini tuh enak bisa jalan-jalan keliling alun-alunnya, karena banyak pedagang kaki lima di sekitarnya, mulai dari pentol, cilok, pentil telur, maklor, bihlor, telur gulung, es jeruk, air mineral, leker, pentol bakar, kopi, es teh, jasuke, jagung bakar, dan masih banyaaak lagi (kalian coba saja)

Cuman untuk makanan berat kurang tau ya, lebih baik kalian bawa makan sendiri dan piknik disana😂😄 lebih syahdu😎

Ada penjual mainan dan persewaan mainan juga, lengkap dah pokoknya. Tempat parkir pun ada dengan tarif 2k.

Tapii sebagai pengunjung fasilitas umum, jangan lupa untuk jaga kebersihan ya guys, karena sudah disediakan tempat sampah, tolong jangan buang sampah sembarangan, dan tolong jangan merusak fasilitas umum...
