A Heavenly Experience at the Gateway of Heaven, Bali
Visiting the Gateway of Heaven at Lempuyang Temple in Bali was an unforgettable experience, and I owe much of it to the seamless planning by Traveliconz Tourism. They truly made the journey magical and stress-free.
As I arrived at the temple, the sight of the iconic split gates was breathtaking. The serene atmosphere and the stunning views made the long trip to the temple absolutely worth it. The “Heaven’s Gate” has an aura of spirituality and tranquility that is hard to put into words. I was mesmerized by the combination of traditional Balinese architecture, natural beauty, and the mystical vibe surrounding the place.
The travel arrangements by Traveliconz Tourism were impeccable. They ensured that I reached early enough to beat the crowds and fully enjoy the serene beauty of the site. The team was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable, making my experience even more enjoyable.
If you’re looking for a destination that combines culture, nature, and spirituality, the Gateway of Heaven is a must-visit. And if you want a hassle-free, memorable journey, I highly recommend Traveliconz Tourism. They made my trip to Bali truly...

First of all, women on their period are not allowed to enter. Of course, you can choose to lie about it—that's up to you. Second, the temple itself is so small that once you get to the top, there's really nothing to do except wait your turn for a photo. If that picture is really important to you, then go ahead. We were lucky to arrive late, around 4 PM, and still had to wait for 2 hours. I personally don't think it's worth coming early in the morning and wasting an entire day just for one photo. Third and MOST IMPORTANT: there are people who approach visitors and offer to sneak them in ahead of others in line. I didn’t personally see money being exchanged, but I did see people who had numbers behind us suddenly getting called ahead of us. That really upset me and is the main reason I’m writing this review.
You expect a sacred place, but what you actually get is a beach umbrella, a guy with a mirror taking pictures, and a microphone calling out numbers. It honestly felt more like a cheap carnival than a place of cultural or spiritual significance.
I hope this review saves at least someone from the...

Even bikes are not allowed to go up to the temple unless you are local. Traffic diverted to the parking you pay IDR 4000 for parking. Then you need to get a shuttle bus to the Lampuyang Temple ( gates of Heaven). The shuttle bus is IDR 50000 per person ( for children under 10 free). When we arrived at the temple , you have to buy a ticket cost IDR 70000 per person. It was Busy. The average Waiting time is 2.5 hours before you get a turn. There is a guy sitting in front of the biggest GATE of heaven with a donation box in front of him to take mirror effect photos from you cameras. You can donate anything you like ( i saw people paying nothing to him). Every individual is allowed to take four photos per person. Couple get 12 photos in total (4 together and 4 separate each). Photos are not wow. On return it was dark around 5.30pm which makes it difficult to drive the car back to Ubud ( maybe , it is a different experience going towards any other side). Thats my experience...
