Kusamba Beach is mainly used as a departure point for boats heading to Nusa Penida, so it’s quite functional rather than a leisure spot. The black sand is interesting, but unfortunately the beach itself is quite dirty with a lot of rubbish scattered around, which takes away from the natural beauty.
