We had just been to Besaki Temple and decided to come to Taman Edelweiss since we drove all this way. The difference was night and day. At the temple, all the vendors were quite aggressive. It's clear to see why: the pandemic has not been kind to the community.
Finding our way to Taman Edelweiss was not easy due to rain, road closures, and Google giving us one wrong turn, but when we got there, it was so worth it. The rain cleared, and we saw a double rainbow near the mountaintop! The people there are incredibly nice, too. My S.O. left her phone and charger in the restaurant, but the attendant ran out to the parking lot to give it back!
There's not much in terms of local dishes in the dining that I saw, but the prices were very cheap, about a third or less of what you'd find in Denpasar for the same meal, except the beer. The tickets are also cheap, and the rate is the same for locals and foreigners.

There are many "warung" near parking area with many choices of food like "tipat cantok" (traditional food), bakso (meatball) and fried rice. The jackfruit fried was really nice too.
