A beautiful waterfall, but it is really far from Waingapu and the road is really bad. Took 4-5 hours journey from Waingapu. You must get on 4WD car to reach this place. Not my favourite waterfall in Sumba island, won't recommend to come here if you only have limited time. The trekking route, however, is easy and not so far compared to Tanggedu waterfall or Waimarang waterfall.

Salah satu Destinasi Wisata Air Terjun terbaik di Kabupaten Sumba Timur. Namun jarak tempuh dari Kota Waingapu cukup jauh dengan sarana jalan yang belum memadai. Di Danau Laputi terdapat belut putih yang jinak dan dapat sentuh belut ini dinamakan Laputi, di keramatkan oleh warga setempat, agak kebawah danau terdapat Air Terjun 7 tingkat yang sangat indah, juga terdapat Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Mikrohidro yg di bangun oleh pemerintah daerah sumba timur...
