Pantai Tarimbang — Attraction in Kecamatan Tabundung

The most beautiful beach I've seen so far in Sumba. The road leading to it is very bad though. It is said to be one of top 5 surf beaches in the world. I don't know if this is true, because I don't surf, but Australians come to surf here and they seem happy. Villa Amidala does really cool daytrips to this beach. They send a member of their staff along with you to prepare a grilled meal for you on site. We've had sate ayam... really...

Beautiful beach .But Sanflys will eat you alive . As a Surfer .The Surf is very rare and inconsistent. And there is only one place to Surf . Not in anyway in the top 5 surf spots even in Indonesia. Definitely worth the 2.5 hour roadtrip down, beautiful white sand beach enclosed by two cliff faces.
