Bekasi city's most central city forest. Very easy to reach, and free of charge. Vegetation is quite dense and protect us from sun heat very well. Facility is good, there are open fields with kid friendly facilities inside. There is also a large pond with war monument inside Bathroom & praying room facility is provided near enterance. But unfortunately motorcycle still allowed go into running track and not well maintenanced. Running track is somehow too short for my liking...

Even Ginza Post WWII 1947 is tidier than this (and yes after Godzilla wrecked the city).

Hutan Kota Patriot merupakan salah satu taman kota dengan fasilitas terlengkap di kota Bekasi. Vegetasi di hutan kota Patriot didominasi oleh pohon mahoni (Mahagoni sp) dan beberapa species tanaman hutan tropis lainnya. Tersedia fasilitas jalan untuk jogging, kolam, bangku taman dan toilet umum. Lokasinya sangat strategis karena berada di jantung kota Bekasi. Setiap Minggu pagi taman ini sangat ramai dikunjungi warga kota Bekasi untuk berolahraga sambil menikmati keindahan taman. Sayangnya meskipun tempat sampah sudah cukup banyak disediakan Pemkot Bekasi, tapi masih banyak sampah yang berserakan di mana-mana. Mungkin karena masih rendahnya kesadaran pengunjung akan pentingnya menjaga kebersihan. Hal lain yang mengurangi keindahan taman ini adalah banyaknya pedagang asongan, pengamen, pengemis dan gelandangan yang berkeliaran di sana terutama...
