most of the animals, especially imported one, looked either badly malnourished or sickly. the birds are only fed with one variant of seed, and there doesn't seem to be any professional/qualified staff that takes care of the animals either, mostly just builders because the zoo are still under construction/expansion. some of the birds that naturally lived in different climates are caged in a basic, same cage as all the other birds, which unfortunately got exposed directly to the sun and with a metal roof that traps heat. i saw a bird hopping back and forth in a cage because the lower perch expose the bird directly to the sun while the top one put it directly under the hot metallic roof. in most part of the world, the park owner would have lose their permit for treating animals like these. people come to the park to have fun, not to feel sad for the animals. please, consult an expert for some advice on how to contain different birds from different climates properly and take a better care of the animals.

as for the recreation area, the garden are beautiful with a pretty nice view of the natural landscape, along with several huts as a place to rest, eat, and relax. unfortunately, the numbers of available huts are quite limited. if you decided to go on a holiday/weekend, good luck finding an empty one.

it is quite a nice park, i believe they are still expanding the place. although i also believed they need to build a better entrance and charge the safari and the recreation area separately, entrance to safari cost a fixed amount for each car, while the park entry are charged per person. this way people aren't forced to go through the safari if they don't want to because they already paid for it, and it is quite rude and awkward counting heads for the folk in the car because they charged per person while the people are still...

Luas tempat ini 60 hektar. Jadi, luas sekali ya... Masuk Rp. 40.000/ orang. (Anak kecil dari mulai SD/MI udah terhitung) (Cuma ini yang bayar, gak ada lagi bayar-bayar lain)

Ada jalur safari dengan mobil, bisa lihat rusa, kuda, di alam bebas. Setelah itu, parkir mobil dan mulai jalan lihat-lihat. (Total bisa 2000 langkah lebih. Tapi, kalo mau istirahat, ada tempat duduk kok)

Pastikan lihat semua binatang ya: berbagai jenis burung (Merak, Nuri, Kakatua, Elang), singa, buaya, musang, beruang, angsa, orang utan dll

Dilarang kasi makan mereka, jangan ribut pas lihat singa dan jangan lempar dan ganggu binatang-binatang ya!

Ada kantin yang jual makanan dan minuman, lumayan terjangkau harganya. Ayam geprek 22K/ porsi.

Banyak Jambo/ Balee untuk makan sekeluarga. Nyaman dengan angin sepoi-sepoi dan suasana alam. Pastikan tinggalkan tempat dengan bersih lagi ya! (Buang sampah pada tempat yang telah disediakan)

Tempat shalatnya, Balee, besar dan bersih. Ada sajadah. Ada mukena untuk perempuan juga.
