Putri Malu Waterfall — Attraction in Lampung

The waterfall has a huge potential to be a tourist attraction in Way Kanan but I don’t think that the local authorities care about this. The road that takes to the place is bad-there are a lot of pot holes; the road is unpaved. You need to be extra careful while riding your motorcycle (yes you can’t even drive a car there). If it were not for the stunning view the waterfall gave me, I would give the place 1 star.

Addition: Please provide dustbin so visitors can throw their trashes there. During my visit, there are lot of plastics thrown away all...

ATTENTION / PERHATIAN

To my fellow foreigner : it quite a ride to reach this awesome place. Because it located in the middle of jungle (which I thankful a lot so there are not much people come).

Be alarmed of the adventure. Try to contact local authorities. Don't go there by yourself. And please no littering. Be responsible to your own plastic garbage.

ini bukan objek wisata ramah anak-anak atau hiburan keluarga. Meski tak esktrim, perjalanan ke sana cukup berbahaya. Apalagi akses ke lokasi cuma bisa dicapai motor.

(Ojek Rp.100 ribu per orang) itu tarif kemahalan wahai penduduk lokal, bikin kaget rakyat jelata macam saya. Hehehe

Yang berkunjung ke sini banyak juga dari kalangan mahasiswa. Untungnya mereka biasa datang rombongan. (Semoga mereka tak buang sampah sembarangan)

Kalau mau, banyak cara untuk menarik duit wisatawan tapi tak bikin kaget. Misalnya bikin paket petualangan grup : trekking ke beberapa air terjun, menginap semalam di lokasi, dilanjut arung jeram dengan finish di sekitar pemandian air panas.

Atau buka homestay atau bungalow di sekitar lokasi juga sangat menarik. Rental motor trail juga prospeknya bagus. Di lokasi sini sangat menjual untuk wisata petualangan (trekking, outbound, trail adventure)

Sekedar saran : Kalau ingin ramai dikunjungi 1.ramah, 2.informatif, 3.tonjolkan sisi positif budaya lokal. Pengunjung jangan ditakut-takuti yang malah jadi bikin sepi objek wisata, lebih enak dikasi himbauan. Misalnya;

"Masuk hutan lindung kalau bisa ditemani penduduk lokal agar lebih nyaman."

Untuk pemerintah kalau bisa, tolong di sekitar lokasi dibuat pos jaga. Pengunjung yang datang seharusnya terdaftar kalau masuk areal...

Nice waterfall spot on Way Kanan but access is bad and narrow.. affordable only motorcycle.. not recommended if you come when weather is raining but suitable for nature and adventure lover..still needs more support...
