Sebenarnya waduk ini sangat bagus dan berguna keberadaannya untuk Kota Lhokseumawe. Selain sebagai solusi untuk mencegah banjir juga dapat dijadikan sebagai tempat wisata atau sekedar menghabiskan waktu bersama keluarga khususnya di sore hari, juga bisa sebagai tempat untuk berolahraga di pagi hari. Banyak pohon yg mulai rindang dan berbagai pilihan makanan menambah poin rekomendasi waduk ini. Hanya saja sayang sekali waduk ini begitu banyak sampah sehingga selain tidak enak dipadang juga menimbulkan bau yang tidak sedap.
