Kapas Biru Panoramic View — Attraction in Lumajang

This place isn't worth the hype. You will be given a token number to click picture through the water with the waterfall in the back drop. People are clicking pictures like sitting and smoking in the water, polluting the water. They even throw the cigarette buds in the water. We went @6 am and spent time till 7:30 and our chance didn't come. We left the place as it would have taken another 1 hour just to even look at the view from the water. There are other spots made to enjoy the view. but this is totally chaotic with just chinese travelers clicking unlimited pictures.

People here are also so careless, they themselves keep smoking up all the time contaminating their own drinking water by throwing cigarettes. They keep clicking pictures of one person for 15 mins and one ticket number could have 8 pepl too. So atleast 45 mins for that...

Good view on Kapas Biru waterfall from here. Entrance was 50k for two foreigners + parking for a car. You get a waitlist number to take the picture in the water with waterfall and volcano on the background, it allows 2min per person. We came at 9 and even after 30min wait it was still not our turn so we didn't stay longer. Plan on coming early to get a clear view of Semeru in the back and less queue ! I'd go to this one before Tumpak Sewu if I had to do it again, it opens at 6am and lights must...

Air Terjun Kapas Biru atau Coban Kapas Biru merupakan air terjun yang terletak di Kabupaten Lumajang, Provinsi Jawa Timur. Objek wisata ini dibuka untuk umum sejak tahun 2015 dengan menawarkan keindahan air terjun. Belum diketahui pasti total ketinggian air terjun ini namun diperkirakan sekitar 100 meter. Air Terjun Kapas Biru ini bertingkat 2 dengan tingkat bawah setinggi 90 meter dan tingkat atas setinggi 10 meter dan diapit tebing yang sumber airnya berasal dari aliran anak Sungai Besukbang/Sungai Lengkong yang berhulu di lereng Gunung Semeru. Air Terjun Kapas biru merupakan salah satu dari banyaknya air terjun yang terbentuk ditepian lembah-lembah curam Sungai Besukbang-Glidik di perbatasan Kabupaten Malang - Kabupaten Lumajang. Pemandangan disekitar Air Terjun yang terletak di elevasi 500 Mdpl ini sangat indah karena dikelilingi tebing-tebing tinggi berwarna coklat kemerahan dengan sisipan lumut-lumut hijau serta rimbunnya pepohonanan disekitarnya.
