NICOLE'S RIVER PARK — Attraction in Megamendung

It's quite a new attraction place in Puncak, not too far from the Ciawi toll exit, but still there may be a bit of traffic jam coming to this place. It looks simple from the outside, but once you get inside, they have more to offer than what it seems from the outside. Ticket price is reasonable for the experiences, you can take some nice photos in the early part of the journey where they decorate the rooms as underwater world, then various country set up such as China, Korea, and later on Japan near the exit. They also have mini zoo with some mini animals like guinea pigs, rabbits, sheep, owl, etc. And afterward there's a small carnival area where children can enjoy some heart-pounding attractions. The major attraction is the Nicole's castle, which will cost a bit more if you choose to go there, you can buy the all-round ticket at the entrance or separate castle ticket before the bridge to the caste. I find the castle is more for taking social media's photos and for kids to get some new experiences, but not much to see to be honest. I took the sky ride which cost additional but it's quite a short trip around part of the castle. I think it's a good place to try something new, but I don't think it's worth to come back for...

The kids and their friends enjoy their time at Nicole's. The castle has different areas to explore, as if it is a real castle. A group of adults seem to have a good time taking a group picture by the castle's entrance. Kids are so curious about the dragon's statue, especially its sharp teeth. My kids want to fly a broom inside the castle.

Our favorite spot is the riding area with small rollercoasters, cars, flying fox. The kids have a blast riding a flying fox across the river. Thankfully, the staff do double check for the kids' safety, which is appreciated. This play area is next to Nicole's restaurant, which is convenient. While we wait for our food order, the kids take a couple of rides.

Overall, the trip is better than I expected. As usual, I would recommend coming to this place on a weekday before lunchtime. That way, I'll get a better parking spot inside the building...
