Hukurila is one of hidden beaches in Ambon. If you could swim, you may see fishes and the water is clear. Don't come during rainy day. Bring your own swimwear with snorkeling/diving tools and waterproof case for phone in order to be able to do documentations!
Open for public everyday, no payment fees on Sunday as well as no merchant open on that day because most are Christians and they have the need to pray :)
Bring along your food, they only served light meals : cup of noodles, snacks and hot water.
Room for shower is available, bring small amount of money (IDR 2K up to 5K) for it.
It could've been more wonderful, but it's not yet well managed by the people within the area. It's quite unpleasant since the sewer is merged directly to the water along the beach.
You may find some trashes as well, you can't walk without sandals or it's gonna be painful. No rental at all in any beaches in Ambon except Lubang Buaya Morella, I wish they knew that it's not convenient for travelers to bring...
