OBJEK WISATA SAMPURAGA — Attraction in North Sumatra

SAMPURAGA HOT WATER Geothermal water sources, preliminary research results indicate that there is a connection with volcanic geothermal activity on Mount Sorik Marapi. In 2020, this place is laid out, tidied up and opened to the public. This place was initiated and inaugurated by the Regent of Mandailing Natal: H. Dahlan Hasan.

The Regent hopes that the opening of this tourist spot can provide an opportunity for the surrounding community to increase their income by selling foods, drinks or souvenirs...

This place has not been widely publicized, including not yet fully organized. However, as a facility for visitors, chairs have been installed to get steam as a form of sauna. This was quite effective, during the Covid-19 pandemic, many residents used it to tackle the spread...

What a mess!!

this place has very interesting story behind its creation, however I guess its need more attention from local government and local people how their maintains its cleanness, purposes and concepts. I was there and what i see is bunch of people left garbage everywhere, boil some eggs and corn at hot spring, human waste, plastic, egg shells almost everywhere,there's no proper toilet and we didnt get any tickets after we paid entrance fee.

👍:bisa masak telur tapi harus bayar 2k/telur, banyak penjual makanan, sudah ada waterboom tapi harus bayar lagi, bisa ke sungai tapi gk tau bayar lagi apa gk. 👎:PANAS GILAA, tidak ada pohon/tenda di dekat sumber air panasnya, kuali air panasnya sudah tertimbun tanah, besi pembatas sudah berkarat, tidak adanya penjaga yg mengawasi jadi ada banyak org yang nekat ngelewatin pagar.
