I absolutely enjoyed this place! Samosir island itself has majestic views of the lake but coming here was awhile different experience. There are 3 big differences why this place is perfect for you and your family.
One, the water here is not salty like the oceans since it’s a lake. Kids can easily swim in pristine clear fresh waters.
Two, there are no big waves to worry about despite it can get windy at times. The waves made by the winds are like baby waves.
Lastly perhaps the most important, is it’s clean, well maintained and has food, toilet, changing room and bathing facilities.
Entrance fees is Rp20.000 per person and you get parking, a bottle of water, access to the beach, usage of the photo spots & toilet/changing room/bathing facilities - to me this price is...

Th temperature in the lake is just nice and views across the lake s fantastic, not to mention watching flocks of birds flying pass while lazing on the deck loungers. We did not stayed long as it turns cloudy. If you plan to swim in the lake - do visit this beach.
This beach was recommended by our guide - it is definitely cleaner than the one we wanted to go initially. There is an entrance fee which included a bottle of water and facilities to use while in...
Read moreThe best beach to relax and have meals in Samosir. Pay only one time entrance and parking fee, and all utilities (gazebo/sheds, toilets, etc.) could be used for free. Cafes are properly located away from beach thus never obstructing the view of beach or the incoming breeze. Only trees, gazebos/sheds are on the beach/near water. No loud music, only occasional announcements. The beach is centrally/properly managed and is well maintained. Hardly any rubbish. If I ever visit Samosir again, this is the only beach I would...
