Sipinsur Park Geosite and Pine Forest — Attraction in North Sumatra

Sipinsur Geopark is a good place to see the beautiful Toba lake. In December 2019, I went to Sipinsur Geopark . When i was there, it was a holiday season and a lot of people came, but no worries, because there was a lot of parking space to park our car or motorcycle.

But it was foggy when i arrived there. I couldn’t see the panorama of lake toba. Luckly, the fog was gone slowly so we could saw the beautiful panorama of lake toba. In Sipinsur, there was also horses and i rent it to ride it around the geopark. There was also a girl, she had a telescope and we can the lake toba with it and pay some...

I love the pines, I love to look for its tops. I love to remember how peaceful this place before, but now it is a mass tourism spot. Well since I like its natural beauty before, imho , too many human-made facilities now here. Yet, it is still beautiful. Big parking space outside the gate. No signature culinary yet. The view from the mountain to the lake is wonderful, you can look at the small island called Sibandang. Now, Oct 2021, the entry ticket is cheap, Rp1.000 per person. Be sure to visit the art gallery and support the local artist by buying their products. And please keep this area...

Me and my friends very disappointed. When we arrived at the gate, it's close. Next to the gate, there is a homestay, and when we ask to the staff, he said the management of the Sipinsur Geopark and The homestay are different. But the key of the gate is on one of their staff. And the staff said if u stay overnight at the homestay, the guest will be able enter to the Sipinsur Geopark. So, there is no transparency about this place is close or temporarily close. Please, the government manage this place to be better. And please activate Sipinsur Geopark Social Media for transparency...
