Wisata Batu Katak — Attraction in North Sumatra

This is perfect place for healing. Lots of natural attraction, such us caves, beautiful river, forest, exotic flora-fauna, small village, and this area is Gunung Leuser National Park's buffer zone. Very cool day trip from Bukit Lawang. I highly recommend to do a short Jungle Trekking to see the biggest and one of the rarest flowers in the world; Amorphophallus titanum (English: Titan Arum / Corpse Flower German: Titanenwurz). Also, Batu Katak is a very good place to see different kinds of Gibbon monkeys (black faced and white faced Gibbon) up close. For these monkeys Batu Katak is a better spot than Bukit Lawang.
