Beach lovers must visit. Beautiful and very pristine beach. The place is amazingly good. Surrounded by rough and rocky cliff, it makes the view is an awesome place to visit.
You can just sit on the white sands, looking at the beach, relaxing your mind and soul, watching the people and the fishermen are doing their daily routines. Or you can join others swimming at the beach, enjoying the waves that is running to you and making yourself wet with salty water.
This beach is quite safe for children to swim, although they need to be assisted anyway. Adequate facilities around the beach. Toilets, warung/food stalls, large parking areas, fish market, etc. If you’re lucky, you can buy fresh fish or seafood directly from the fishermen or the fish market. And ask one of the food stalls or warung to cook them for you. There are plenty warung/food stalls that sell delicious dishes. Price is average and still affordable. We ate for 10 people and paid for 400K, including rice, vegetables, and 3 kind of fish dishes. If you swim and want to wash or shower, you can also use the warung/food stall there. Fee is about 2-5K.
Best time to visit is in the morning on the weekdays. Enjoy the sunrise and have your lunch there. It is a very accessible place. The road to there is well asphalted. So, don’t worry about...
Read moreA white sandy beach in south sea of Java? This Gesing Beach is one of a kind. Placed in a bay between a cliff with smooth sand and clear water, this beach is safe for playing near the water (I recommend not to swim because, it’s southern sea of Java with strong current). There’s a fish auction near and a lot of local fisherman boats. There’s a lot of parking area here and the public toilets are clean. But if you are a moslem, there’s mosque up the hill without a water to wudhu. But there’s a house behind it with a water tank but she (the owner) stingyly said that the water was expensive and the equipment was also expensive and then ordered us to do tayammum instead. Rude Karen, Indonesia has rude Karen. Even if she wears a hijab and obviously do pray like us like...
Read moreThe scenery during sunrise and sunset here leaves quite an impression, quieter hours and softer lighting make the place feel calm and reflective. On my recent visit, the area was much less crowded in the early morning, which made it easier to enjoy the surroundings without much distraction. I remember back when people could still swim along the white sandy shore before the dock was built, now it's more of a viewing spot than a swimming area.
Basic facilities like restrooms and small eateries are available, and some seafood dishes were pretty memorable. Entrance fees are still relatively affordable, and there are several attractions, especially for...
