Danau Biru Sawahlunto — Attraction in Sawahlunto

There is something magical about this place. If you come here on a sunny day, I guarantee you that all the pictures you take will be amazingly beautiful! Trust me. This place is one of the most photogenic places I've ever visited.

The lake is so so blue, you might be surprised and amazed when you first see it. Well, I was. It's way bluer than the sky! The blue color of the water is so contrast with its surroundings, yellowish rocks and white sand. This lake is an ex-mining lake, so it's not a place for swimming (for sure!). Some say that the blue color is caused by certain minerals found in its soil.

One thing I have to warn you, the road to this location is quite bad. And don't expect it to be repaired soon. It won't. Why? Because the road is also a main track for mine trucks, so there is no need to be paved. But in sunny weather, it won't be difficult to come to this place, either by car or by motorbike. Just make sure that you use a car with high ground clearance like SUV...

The lake is located approximately one and half hours from downtown Sawahlunto, twenty minutes before arriving at this location, the road conditions are still pebbled. so, it is advisable to board the car to go to the place. This place is very beautiful, breathtaking, I highly recommend to come to this place. To get to this location can go through two lanes, first take the plane to Padang, from Padang you can rent a car (until now there has been no public transportation to this place) ... Second, take a plane to Pekanbaru, and rent a car to get to Danau Biru Sawahlunto, or you can take bus to Bukittinggi,from Bukittinggi...

Danau Biru Sawahlunto,danau yg masih asri baik lokasi dan kondisi jalan yg masih belum ter ekplor,tempat dan lokasi masih di kelola oleh warga masyarakat sekitar dengan seadanya.ke lokasi dapat menggunakan kendaraan roda dua dan roda empat. Kalo saya boleh saran,karena jalan menuju lokasi masih belum bagus,baiknya kalau minat berkunjung ke tempat jangan terlalu sore atau hujan,karena jalannya masih tanah dan bebatuan,perlu perjuangan untuk sampai di lokasi,tapi yakin pemandangan Danaunya bikin Baper (Bakal Pengen lagi) Ayo datangi destinasi wisata ini,pasti akan terkagum dengan kondisinya. Jangan terheran kalau saat anda berkunjung ke lokasi pada hari libur,banyak warga kampung di dekat lokasi berada di sepanjang jalan yg anda lintasi dengan membawa binatang anjing,ada yg membawanya dgn menggunakan sepeda motor ada juga dong kendaraan roda empat,sepertinya mereka akan melakukan lomba berburu di...
