The main falls are about 25–40 m high, and although only the first level is open, it makes a stunning first impression. There’s a hanging bridge that adds a dash of excitement to the natural scenery. Despite minimal infrastructure, the surroundings feel pristine and thoughtfully cared for.

The water is refreshingly cool—ideal for a dip after the climb. Photographers will appreciate how sunlit droplets contrast against lush foliage, and families seem to delight especially in the calm swimming basin.

It is very beautiful. Yes, indeed. But the journey to reach the waterfall is totally unimpressive! You have to climb very much of stairs around 20-25 minutes. Then, walk for approximately 15 minutes before you reach the first rest stop. The stairs is incredibly shocking because some of them are well build, but mostly are not. For my parents (both of them are 50's & my dad had his 2nd stroke last year), this is totally nightmare because it was too tiring & slippery! Poor them :( In the 1st rest stop, there are 2 stall who sell foods & drinks. From this stop, you will get 2 choices : climbing to the source of waterfall or going down to the river. Air terjun Bajuin, terletak lebih kurang 10 km dari Kota Pelayhari kab. Tanah laut, atau kurang lebih 100 kn dari Kota Banjarmasin. Dari Kota Pelayhari ibukota kab. Tanah laut menuju air terjun Bajuin kurang lebih 10 km jalan yang kita lalui sudah cukup baik ber aspal, di lokasi sudah ada parkir ketika parkir kita dimintai sumbangan rp. 10.000. Dari parkiran kita naik tanjakan jalan kaki lebih kurang 600 meter.... Dengan tanjakan sekitar 35 derajat... Tp jangan khawatir.. Tanjakan disediakan pijakan anak tangga semen beton.. Sayang tidak sampai lokasi. Ya sekitar, 400 m jalan masih setapak yang dikitari hutan kiri kanan, ya ini yang membuat asri dan asik. Sesampai dilokasi.. Ada fasilitas warung sederhana cukup sekedar minum kopi dan koe atau mie rebus he he, untuk melepas lelah. NAH dari stasiun warung ini kalau kita ingin menikmati air terjun yang bagus harus naik tanjakan .. Ya hati hati lah.. Sudah disediakan tali sederhana untuk membantu naik bayar Rp. 2000. Ada beberapa air terjun kecil kecil.. Pada tanjakan pertama... Setelahnya anda bisa naik lagi untuk melihat air terjun yang lumayan tinggi... Tapi saya... Cukup... Yang tanjakan pertama saja sudah cukup puas menikmati udara sejuk, hutan rimbun, bebatuan yang dikelilingi gemercik air.... Oh ya dari stasiun warung pertama tadi sebenarnya kita sudah bisa menikmati air terjun... Tp agak lindung pepohonan kurang puas kalau tidak... Naik lagi he he yang mampu.... Kurang lebih 1 jam saja saya menikmati air terjun, hutan lebat, batu cadas dan gemercik air... Mendung cuaca.......
