Also known to many tourists as 500 Lohan temple, this temple is well known for their rows of Lohan statues that seemingly looks at you no matter where you stand. Regardless of which direction, there is at least one Lohan statue that seems to be looking at you. What many would not notice is that, as this temple is located on top of a hill, there is nice scenery at the entrance. In addition, as you walked on the left side of temple, there are small stone block carvings that depict and tells the story of Buddha as you walk on. There is so much going on in this temple that if you look closely, you might spend up to 30mins here. But for those who doesn’t like to read or admire the different Lohan statues, this place might take around 10mins max. After the Lohan statues, walk on to the right side and there is a small store selling refreshments to drink and cup noodles to eat. Take some time to rest here and admire the peace and serenity of the temple. Head on to hang a lantern for blessing if you want. Location: this place is near Tanjung Pinang but far from Lagoi resorts. About two hour drive from Lagoi resorts. Tip: could do a shopping trip at Tanjung Pinang and head here for sightseeing away from the busy streets for a short...

One of the tourist destinations that should not be missed by tourists when in Tanjungpinang is the Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva Temple! 🏯✨This temple has its own uniqueness and beauty, with amazing statue carvings. Each statue has a different facial expression, making it very interesting to observe. 😍📸

If you plan to visit this temple, you should come in the morning to avoid the weather being too hot. The entrance fee to this temple is very affordable, which is IDR 5,000 per person. In addition, this temple also provides umbrella rentals for tourists who visit during rain or extra...

A beautiful and unique temple with a display of statues of various expressions numbering in the hundreds. Admission is affordable for locals, and slightly higher (but still affordable) for foreign tourists. The scenery is beautiful, and perfect for taking pictures. It's recommended to go early in the morning or late in the afternoon when the sun is less glaring. The place is clean, beautiful, with a well-maintained garden. The location is a little off the beaten track, but that's a plus as it's quieter and away from the hustle and bustle...
