Can’t believe i didn’t know about this waterfall sooner. This unique waterfall is hidden behind a gorge and it’s famous for the cascading light that peeks through in the morning. A haven for photo enthusiasts who are chasing the ‘sun light effect’. It’s simply gorgeous.
The waterfall area is very well-maintained although lack of road signs can easily be missed if you’re not attentive. We drove an SUV and it can get pretty precarious given that the road leading to the waterfall can only fit one car comfortably. The main parking area can fit 4 cars, so if it’s full you can ask to park the local’s house nearby.
The trip was worth it though. The area is very well maintained and everyone is mindful about not littering.
The path is well paved and you can easily wear a slipper or sandal to get to the waterfall.
Best time to come will be from June-August I was told, when the waterfall is at its most beautiful- when you get to witness the sun streaking down the fold of the gorge. And best time for photo taking will be at 7.30-8.30.

It was named Ibun Pelang or Embun Pelangi means "Rainbow Dew" because the dew from the waterfall that falls are exposed to sunlight, so that the rainbow light can appear around the waterfall.
It is an exotic sight for tourism and photography. The best time to visit is early in the morning when the sun just rises.

Small road going up, the same route as you would take to go to terasering panyaweuyan, although the latter is much more way up and more extreme. Driving skill is essential (low gear, give way, rather sharp turn and reasonably steep road)
Plan your trip in order to arrive around 8am to secure your spot for the best viewing. The best time would be around 8.30 and 9.30. make sure you take photos of the...
