Curug Tilu Leuwi Opat — Attraction in West Java

Curug Tilu Leuwi Opat is a lovely escape into nature — perfect for a quick refreshing trip from Bandung. For an entrance fee of only Rp20.000, you get access to scenic waterfalls, peaceful rivers, and lush greenery all around. That said, some facilities could definitely use improvement. It’s also a bit of a walk to reach the main waterfall, but the journey is worth it.

Its located not far from the center, only 1 hour ish drive from Bandung city center. At this location there are 3 waterfall, thats why its called Curug Tilu Leuwi Opat, 3 waterfalls and 4 forest, yeah basically that is the meaning of the name. The curug is not far from the parking lot, esp the first curug. Me n my friends had a picnic at the first Curug, theres a few people there, so we can picnic wherever we want.. The ticket is 15k, and the parking fee maybe 3-5k, i forgot.. The water from the waterfall is sooooo clean, we even took our wudhu there, and also refreshing.. It isn't funny that you paid 16k IDR to realize that the very first waterfall (Curug Aseupan) literally dried up, how was I supposed to enjoy that??? I don't get it why other tourists seemed to be nonchalant about that 😅.

Furthermore, we had to pay another 15k for the access to the main waterfall (the so-called "Curug Tilu"; yes this is how Curug Tilu Leuwi Opat got its name) for being located in another territory, it was like "are you kidding me?". Of course I refused to pay for another ticket. The ticketing is such a mess!.
