Pangandaran Beach — Attraction in West Java

The tour to Pangandaran Beach started on holiday last semester. We decided to go to Pangandaran Beach by our motorbike. That was very interesting tour. Riding a motorbike from my hometown, Kuningan, to Pangandaran Beach with my best friends made me feel exited. The tour to Pangandaran Beach began at 09.00 a.m. in the morning and it took 5 hours riding to Pangandaran Beach. There were so many story that my friends and I got when we were in the tour such as there was my friend who got lost, ran out of fuel in the middle of jungle, and so forth. But it was interesting, because it was the first moment that I ever had in touring. We arrived at Pangandaran Beach at 02.00 p.m. and we stright to move to the beach. At beach we just lied down there to stretch our muscle because of 5 hours riding. We also had a lunch there by eating some foods that we brought from Kuningan. That was very nice moment when we shared our own food to others. After we had enough rest, we began to explore Pangandaran Beach. Started by exploring the beach, and the sea using rented boat. Then we went to dive by renting some diving equipment. We could see many coral there. We just had 2 hours to enjoy Pangandaran Beach because we had to come back to Kuningan. We came back to Kuningan at 04.00 p.m. It was imposible to ride in the night, so we just decided to stay over in our friend house in Majalaya and we started to come back in the morning. That was very nice experience that I and my friends ever had. We would never forget...

In 2017, I went to Pangandaran Beach with my family. We went to Pangandaran Beach because we decided to enjoy our holiday in a place with good scenery. That was my first time went to Pangandaran Beach. We went to Pangandaran Beach by car. It took approximately three hours to go to Pangandaran Beach from my aunt’s house in Bandung and we arrived at nine AM. I forgot how much the ticket cost. After my father parked the car, we went to a hut that was located near the beach where visitor can take a break and sat. We did some fun activities on Pangandaran Beach. I and my siblings changed our clothes to swimming suit. The sand was very smooth when it met my feet. We walked around the beach and enjoyed the cool breeze. After that, we sat on the hut for a moment to enjoy the scenery. Then we ran to the seaside and swam in the beach. When we were hungry, we stopped swimming and then went to the hut to take our clothes. We change our clothes in public toilet, but it takes a lot of time due to a long queue. Then, we ran to the hut and ordered some food. We enjoyed our lunch there. After that, we went to the souvenir shop. I bought two clothes, while my mother and my aunt bought fresh fish. We take a lot of photos too. We spent approximately six hours on Pangandaran Beach. In summary, it was a fun holiday. I would like to visit this beach again together with my family in...

Located south of Java, around 140 km from Bandung, one of popular beach to visit. Locals are friendly like typical Indonesian and the price range is still affordable. There are 2 side of beach in here, east side (suitable for playing water sport, buy souvenir, eat seafood and find the sunrise) and west side (suitable for find the sunset, swimming), but I think that both side is offers the same thing nowadays. Both side is quite near actually and you could driving around in Pangandaran with rented ATV, electric bikes, motorcycle or the iconic odong - odong (quad bikes that you could drive around together for 4-6 people on board.). Although I read on the review that many tourism complain for the garbage, the beach is quite clean not yet total clean but ok clean, maybe the local government already gave socialization about cleaning in beach...
