Pantai Lancing — Attraction in West Nusa Tenggara

Beautiful. Had the beach to ourselves. Sand is coarse and hard to walk in because you sink a lot, but that makes sitting and lying down comfortable. When we arrived, a group of kids collected the parking fee (10k) and then asked if we wanted drinks. We got coconuts (20k). Then they followed us around and begged for money with sad faces. We tried changing the subject by asking to take pictures with them but they demanded money to take pictures. One by one each kid begged for money....ruined our experience. This beach is absolutely gorgeous. Clear water, no dirt and very few people. We came by scooter from Kuta and it is a 20 minute ride. When you arrive at the car park there are a few spots where you can park your bike in the shade and you will be asked to pay a parking fee of 10,000 IDR. As far as beaches in Kuta go, this is your best bet for an idyllic setting. They make an effort to keep it clean and there's barely anyone out this way. Compared to Tanjung Aan it's incredible, Aan was filthy with trash. Support these guys, it's rare to see a beach taken care of...
