And it seems your only choice to see old kish and ancient watter distributiin system in kariz. The aqueducts of Kish date back to 2500 years ago and provided the islanders' drinking water. Today, it has been transformed into an amazing underground city, with an area of 10 000 square meters. It is now called Kariz-e Kish. now, Kariz has opened up a new exceptional chapter for all nature lovers who are able to visit the largest coral collection directly. Various other facilities, such as residential, shopping, and leisure centers in a land about 60 000 square meters will be built on Kariz grounds. When we visited, we were fortunate to find the site almost empty, with perhaps only ten other visitors. This made the experience feel intimate, as if we had the entire place to ourselves. There are several fantastic photo opportunities throughout, allowing for some memorable snapshots.
My wife decided to get a henna design on her hand, which added a lovely touch to our visit. We also enjoyed some refreshing juice and ice cream at the on-site restaurant.
